In Islam, the gardens of paradise hold pomegranates, and traditionally it was believed to be important to eat every seed of a pomegranate, as one can’t be sure, which aril came from paradise. Additionally, Anas bin Malik (Radhiyallahu anhu) narrated that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said, “There is not a pomegranate which does not have a pip from one of the pomegranate of the Garden (of paradise) in it.” (Abu Nu’aim)
